Freelang Aromanian-English dictionary

Macedonian flag

Aromanian, also known as Macedo-Romanian, is a Romance language spoken mainly in Macedonia (but also in Greece and Albania). Its grammar is close to Romanian, but the vocabulary has been inherited mostly from Greek. Aromanian is an official language in the Republic of Macedonia. Total number of speakers could be around 300,000.
